Endress Hauser

Introduction: 

It was the year 1953 that saw two men who appeared to come from very different backgrounds form a new company in a private apartment in Lörrach, Germany. There was the 29-year-old Swiss engineer, Georg H Endress; and the 58-year-old German bank manager, obviously older, Ludwig Hauser.

Klaus Endress (*1948) followed his father's work conscientiously and built upon it, setting his own mark as a manager. He managed the challenges of an internationalized world well and expanded sales and production globally, recognizing the importance of service and solution businesses. Klaus Endress honored his dedication to maintaining a strong company culture and created a family charter, in which the shareholder family declared: Endress+Hauser shall be held as a family business.
